About the Cottage
NEW for 2024 the Barn is now able to sleep up to 8 and offers everything you need for a holiday with friends and family. Having recently under gone a refurbishment it now has a downstairs double bedroom and wet room meaning we can now accept individuals with mobility issues. The kitchen is a spacious area with a large dining table perfect for getting around to socialise. The lounge area is positioned so that it can also act as a large individual space of its own with plenty of comfortable seating and a smart TV. Upstairs offers two bedrooms and a bathroom, the double bedroom is light and bright and the second bedroom has two twin beds offering a great night’s sleep. Pets are allowed at the owner's discretion – please contact upon booking. Check out the collection of photographs showing the features of The Barn Cottage. As with all our cottages we have tried to make this cottage a home from home.

- Bathroom with shower over bath, basin and WC & Wet room/toilet downstairs.
- New kitchen (2024) with a large dining table.
- Spacious sitting room with smart TV, double sofa bed and plenty of seating.

- Electric cooker with double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, smart TV.
- Free WIFI throughout the cottage.
- All fuel and power inc. in rent.
- Bed linen and towels inc. in rent.
- Cot, highchair and stair gate on request.
- Bike storage. Off road parking for 2 cars. Shared lawned garden, small patio area with picnic bench.
- Games room with table tennis, table football, and a pool table.
- Children's play area with outdoor trampoline, swing, slide, climbing frame etc.
- Shops 3 miles, pub 1.5 miles.
- Sorry no smoking or vaping within the cottage.

Around the Farm
Bookable Dog Training Field
We have a secure field where you can let your dog off lead. The field is also used by dog trainers, so we ask that you book your time slot to save any headaches.
Indoor Games Room
Our indoor games room is a haven for kids when the weather doesn't play ball. We have table tennis, billiards, and loads of other games. We only ask that you tidy up after use so it's nice for the next person.
Playground
When the sun is shining, it's great to let the kids play outside! We have swings, slides and a sunken trampoline for them to tire themselves out.
Bird Hide & Wildlife Feeding Station
We're surrounded by beautiful woodland and nature and it makes sense that you'll see a lot of it here! We've built a little hide so you can relax and teach the young ones about nature.
What Our Guests Say
Highly recommend the superb accommodation here at Coxwood Farm. Such a great location for exploring castles, towns and the countryside. The kids loved the farm animals and the games room (fresh duck eggs were amazing!). We stayed in the large Dairy cottage - a lovely cottage with huge rooms, ensuite and bathroom upstairs, so many facilities and everyday items (DVD, Hoover, microwave, toaster etc) Variety of small shops and parks close by. Highly recommend.
