About the Cottage
The largest of our cottages the Dairy sleeps up to 8 guests and is a large spacious cottage allowing you to feel at home. A big kitchen space is bright and large enough to accommodate plenty of hungry friends and family around a large solid oak table. The large lounge area is well equipped with comfortable sofas (inc. a sofa bed) and a large smart TV. Up stairs you will find a double bedroom with en-suite and two twin rooms with a modern bathroom. Pets allowed at owners discretion – please ask upon booking. Change over day for week long stays is Saturday. Around the Farm
Bookable Dog Training Field
We have a secure field where you can let your dog off lead. The field is also used by dog trainers, so we ask that you book your time slot to save any headaches.
Indoor Games Room
Our indoor games room is a haven for kids when the weather doesn't play ball. We have table tennis, billiards, and loads of other games. We only ask that you tidy up after use so it's nice for the next person.
Playground
When the sun is shining, it's great to let the kids play outside! We have swings, slides and a sunken trampoline for them to tire themselves out.
Bird Hide & Wildlife Feeding Station
We're surrounded by beautiful woodland and nature and it makes sense that you'll see a lot of it here! We've built a little hide so you can relax and teach the young ones about nature.
What Our Guests Say
We enjoyed our stay at The Dairy. It was clean, spacious and well-equipped. Children (3 and 5) loved the play barn which had a great variety of toys and activities.
We had a fantastic time! Such an amazing cottage, was much bigger than we anticipated, and definitely gave us the wow factor when we walked in. The children loved all the animals, and the game room and play area. And honestly, my only tiny suggestion is that the mattress on the double bed was a little thin so when you lie on it it feels quite hard. But the single beds had big fat mattresses and were extremely comfortable. We will definitely be booking in to stay again next year. Oh, and Jimmi and Jan were just fantastic.
